How do I upload YouTube Shorts video on YouTube

I'm making a lot of short videos and edit them on PC. Before, I will send the videos to my phone so that I can use the Shorts tools on YouTube mobile app to finish the editing process. That is adding popular musics.

It's a lot of back and forth, so I really did not appreciate it. 

Here is what I did to change that.

- I downloaded and installed the Nox Player emulator from bignox.com. (Don't use other websites. This is the official one!) Nox is free with ads. 

 - I used the multi-instance app to create a device with Android 9. The default instance is not compatible with the YouTube mobile app.

- I created a new Google account and added it as a Limited Editor on my channels. (Just in case someone compromises it, that account cannot remove my channel or claim ownership.)

- I installed YouTube and logged in with the new Google account.  

- Opened the File assist (Ctrl+4) to see where the Windows folder is where I can add files to the Android phone.

Now, every time I want to upload short videos:

- I copy or move the file I want to upload on the Nox folder on my PC.

- I run the Nox emulator. 

- Open the multi-instance option to run the Android 9 instance. 

- Run the YouTube app within the Android instance. 

- Upload the video and edit it as a short video as if I am on an actual phone. 

Yes, it is still a bit of work, but it's faster and easier than sending it to my phone!

For Instagram and Facebook reels, I use the Meta Business Suite and it works fine.

Writing a YA fiction based in my village in Madagascar

I have written poems since I was about 8. I have finished some short stories. However, I don’t have a novel or novella published yet. I’ve written about what happened in a Medium blog post.

But you know what else stopped me from finishing a manuscript even after I learned the basics of novel writing? I thought a story needs to be set in an exotic place. I never went on vacation as a child, never took part in any big cultural events. So I was trying to do a lot of research so that I could write interesting stories. 

Then it hit me! How about writing a story about a girl who did not go on vacation? I can write about her daily life. I’m from a place most people have never heard of. Why not tell a story from there? 

I set my upcoming book in Ambohitrimanjaka, Antananarivo, Madagascar. That is where I grew up, get to elementary, middle and high school. My work in progress is not a memoir; it’s a fiction story.
